March of Dimes partnership with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. started in the 1970’s. Members of the sorority support the mission by raising funds via March for Babies, serving as advocates and volunteering. One of their signature programs, Project Cradle Care, allows both organizations through collaborative efforts to focus on improving pregnancy outcomes in high-risk communities by increasing the number of women of childbearing age who receive adequate prenatal education and care. Members have donated care packages to benefit NICU families and co-branded onesies for the military families participating in the March of Dimes Healthy Mission Baby virtual shower.
